Hotel List around The University of Tokyo

As various people asked us to recommend and book a room in hotels around The University of Tokyo, we made this list. Please check the price directly to the hotel. We do NOT have any special agreements with these hotels.

Japanese hotels do not provide special reduction except for some packed-tour. The hotels listed here do not have these kind of reduction but it is worth asking.

We have also a small number of rooms in HONGO campus, which however are always crowded(occupied). When conferences are held in Hongo Campus, we try to get acoommodation in campus.

If you travel to other cities or go back to Narita early in the morning, it is a good idea to stay at a hotel very near to Tokyo station. The room charge turns a bit higher but it is worth staying because taxi charge to Tokyo station may cost more than 2,000 Yen if you stay Shinjuku area.

  Location:(1) 1 min. walk from Suido-bashi-Station WEST exit of JR Chuo-line. Get off Suidobashi through West side exit, walk east direction in 20 meters.

 (2) 10 min walk from Koraku-en Station of Maru-no-uchi Line through Tokyo Dome (Baseball Studium).  Caution: There are another Green Hotel near Suidobashi Station, i.e., Green Hotel Suido-bashi. These two are operated by the same company. So even if you visit another hotel, they will tell you the route to the other.

  Access to U-TOKYO: Go to Korakuen Station. 

  (1) Hongo through Maru-no-uchi Line  

  (2) Todai-mae through Nan-boku Line. By taxi, 740 Yen or a bit more. On foot: nearly 30 min.
