Yongdong Wang

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Precision Engineering at The University of Tokyo (Apr 2023 - Present), working with Prof. Hajime Asama, Prof. Atsushi Yamashita, and Prof. Keiji Nagatani. I was a visiting researcher at the Computer Systems Laboratory, Cornell University (Oct 2024 - Nov 2024). I received my Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems at Okayama University in 2023, advised by Prof. Tetsushi Kamegawa and Prof. Akio Gofuku. During my doctoral studies, I served as a Research Associate at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems, Okayama University (Jun 2020 - Mar 2023). I received my M.S. degree from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems at Okayama University (2020).

My research interests include robotics, snake robots, construction robots, human-robot interaction, multi-agent embodied AI, large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), and deep reinforcement learning.
